What is a Ptarmigan?

The colouration of a White-tailed Ptarmigan (Lagopus leucurus) can change significantly throughout the year. Though they are known to have stocky bodies accompanied with a short bill and tail. During breeding season the females are mottled with brown, blacks, and yellows, whereas males are grey and brown with a white underbelly and red eyebrow. During molting their colouration begins to look scaly against the new white feathers until they are fully white.

Wolverines (Gulo gulo) are extremely tough, solitary animals that are in high population across NBC Hunts territory. They are a fearsome predator, who don’t take into account their size when taking after much larger animals.
